What types of projects do you specialize in?

We focus on designing new homes, event venues, and boutique resorts.

Can you design an addition to my existing home?

Yes! In addition to new builds, we work on home additions and renovations.

I don’t live in Arizona. Will you work out of state?

Yes, we’ve worked on projects in many states and internationally. Let us know where you’re located, and we’ll see if we can work there.

What are your hours of availability?

Our team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Arizona Time. We schedule meetings and calls during these hours and respond to inquiries as promptly as possible. While we understand that some clients have demanding schedules, we’ve found that maintaining set hours allows us to deliver the highest level of focus and quality to every project.

What information should I prepare before our first call?

The more information you can share, the better! In addition to completing our contract form, you might consider sharing details like whether the project will be phased, any special requirements, or the history of your property.

Why do you ask for a budget?

We ask for your budget upfront to determine if it aligns with what’s feasible for your project. This helps us assess whether your vision is realistic within the current market conditions and construction costs.

How much will my project cost?

Costs vary greatly depending on factors like location, scope, and timing. For a rough idea of market conditions, local contractors can often provide cost per square foot ranges based on recent projects, but this is only a starting point for understanding overall costs.

How long does the process take?

Timelines depend on many factors, including complexity, permitting, and review processes. While timelines vary, most projects take a minimum of 24 months from design to move-in.

Do you work on properties with restrictions like HOAs or historic guidelines?

Yes! We have extensive experience working with HOA design guidelines, Historic Preservation requirements, and other regulations.

Do you offer interior design services?

Yes! Interior design is part of most of our projects. We also offer tiered service levels to match your needs.

Can you help with furniture and decor selection?

We don’t handle furniture and decor directly but can connect you with trusted professionals to help.

What is your fee structure?

We offer tiered service levels with fixed fees, which are divided into percentages payable throughout the process.

What happens if I want changes after the design is complete?

No problem! We can make post-design changes as an additional service billed hourly, allowing flexibility even during construction.

Can I swing by your office?

+

We’re a remote firm without a public office. Most meetings happen virtually via Zoom, but some in-person meetings may occur at job sites or specific locations like product showrooms.

Is working remotely difficult for clients?

Not at all! Many clients find our remote process more flexible and convenient. It saves time, allows for more scheduling options, and our digital tools make it easy to visualize designs in real time.

What level of involvement will I have in the process?

Our process is highly collaborative, with multiple design meetings to gather your input and refine the project. If you prefer a more hands-off approach, our premium service tier takes more off your plate.

Do you build?

No. We’re not general contractors, so the choice of contractor is ultimately yours. However, we can share contacts from our network or collaborate with those you bring to the project.

Do you stay involved during construction?

Yes! We stay involved throughout construction, offering levels of involvement ranging from light to heavy, depending on the service tier you choose.

Are other professionals needed for the project?

Depending on your job, it may require additional professionals like structural, civil, and MEP engineers, surveyors, geotechnical experts, landscape architects, pool designers, and more. We can connect you with contacts in our network based on your project’s needs.

I found a house plan I like. Can you create permit drawings from it?

We don’t work from pre-designed plans. Instead, we design homes tailored to your site and lifestyle, ensuring they maximize your property’s potential.

Do you offer 3D renderings or virtual tours?

Yes! We design in 3D on all projects and present renderings during most meetings. For an immersive experience, our premium service tier includes detailed 3D flyaround videos.
