Project Description
"FilmBar screens new, classic and cult independent films in a microcinema setting (approximately 70 seats) while offering beer, wine and food in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. FilmBar is the first 1st run cinema in downtown Phoenix since the closing of the Palms Theater in 1981."

"Filmbar is the poster child for adaptive reuse."

"You really don't know what to expect on walking in. But you are greeted with a calm, cozy and colorful environment, a perfect balance between casual and "fancy", great for bringing friends, business associates, a first date or whomever.  The bar/lounge interior is designed well to mingle and move people around."

"The decor is delicious.  I wanted to touch everything.  The lighting is wonderful! "

"Is it a lounge? Is it a theater? Nope it's both, and it rocks at BOTH!"

"The lounge area itself is a nice wide open space where groups can very comfortably congregate."

"The digs are really swank, the interior is even nicer than I imagined it would be, and the atmosphere is really enthusiastic."

"The decor is classy and refined. The layout is intimate."
As seen on the "SWAGGER awards"...
